INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Arsha De Trust conducted an awareness programme in association with VICIB centre. 65 women were participated in this programme.
Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Women Phase I:
The Centre for Management Development is a leading self- supporting autonomous institution which provides Research, Consulting & Training support to the Development Agencies, Corporate Sector and the Government, both at the National as well as State Level. CMD conducted EDP programmes in 7 districts of Kerala.
Arsha De Trust Conducted Awareness programme in 14 Panchayaths like Koruthodu, Kidangoor, Ettumanoor, Kozhuvanal, Akalakunnam, Pallickathodu, Aymanam, Thrikodithanam, Erumeli, Vijayapuram, Arpookara, Erattupetta, Kadanadu, and Parathodu. Total 700 women participated in this programme. There was a blind belief that men are the only bread winners of their families. This has been proved incorrect because GAD (Gender and Development) has clearly identified the role of women entrepreneurs. Now-a-days, service sector has played a significant role in providing employment opportunities to women. But the EDP programme was a clear evidence to the enthusiasm and spirit of rural women towards Entrepreneurship
